TRUAX, BARBARA Jackson, MI Went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the age of 90. She is survived by one nephew, Clair Truax of California and many special friends. Barb was a 1947 graduate of Albion College with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree with distinction in Biology. She began her career at the UpJohn Company in Battle Creek. She then came home to help with family obligations and was hired into the L.H. Field Company in Jackson, MI where she retired in 1987 after 33 years as a buyer. She then came to the Jackson County Department on Aging/Crouch Senior Center and spent the next 21 years as a great volunteer, committee member and editor of the department's monthly news letter. Barb was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Jackson. Private services will be held and interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Wayland, MI.
