Step-mother of Jeff (Debbie) Hiemer, Chris (Rosie) Hiemer, Steve (Julie) Hiemer and James Hiemer.
Proud grandmother of Brian, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Brandon, Ashley, Erika, Amanda and Andrew.
Aunt to Tom (Judy) Pelt, Bob Pelt, Barbara (Paul) Greenwald, Jerry (Teri) Pelt, the late Ken (Jessie) Pelt, Mary Beth (Dave) Wick, Patty (Dan) Petzold, Mike (Shari) Whalen, the late Peggy (Jim) Birmingham, Karen Hansen, Nancy (Harald) Lyche, Joe (Gail) Maurer and Dan (Joan) Maurer.

Katie was an active member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls.
She retired from the Miller Brewing Company after many years of dedicated service.
She enjoyed being part of the Wisconsin Go-Hiking Club.
Katie lightened the day for many people. Generous with her time and creative skills, she leaves a legacy of artistic creations with her family and friends.
