Actress. The daughter of British actor Herbert Marshall and actress Edna Best. Born in London, she moved with her parents to the United States at the age of six and following her schooling, she marked her Broadway debut with a minor part in the short-lived play "Dream Girls" (1951). She would initiate her television career during this period and in 1958, she was cast for the part of Agnes Stewart in the film adaptation of William Faulkner's "The Long, Hot Summer". She experienced performances in more acclaimed Broadway productions "A Visit to a Small Planet" (1957 to 1958), "The World of Suzie Wong" (1958 to 1960) and "Come Blow Your Horn" (1961 to 1962). She will be perhaps best remembered by TV audiences for a 1962 episode of "The Twilight Zone" titled "Lost Little Girl" and a 1967 episode of "Star Trek" titled "The Deadly Years". (bio by: C.S.)
