Services for Parley A. Ropp, 94, of
1031-19th St., will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in
McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 6:05 p.m. Friday in Miller's Merry
Manor.
Born Jan. 12,1902, in Morton, III., he was
the son of Joseph and Rebecca Kellor Ropp.
On Nov. 16,1929, in Logansport, he was married
to Edna Wolfe, who died April 18,1993.
Mr. Ropp was retired from Logansport Machine
Co. He had also been employed by
Pleasant Hill Greenhouse.
He was a member of Riverview Wesleyan
Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Bonnie Shiver,
Logansport; three sons, David L. Ropp, 111N
200E, Parley A. Ropp Jr., Lake Havassa,
Ariz., and Joseph Ropp, Marion; 13 grandchildren;
25 great-grandchildren; and two greatgreat-
grandchildren.
Two sons, two brothers, and one grandson
preceded in death.
The Rev. Roger M. Budde will officiate at
the services. Burial will be in Harper Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. today in
the funeral home.
