Dollie Madine Moyers Riemenschneider, 80 of Ordway, CO, departed this life to meet her Savior on November 20, 2010; at her home surrounded by her family. Dollie was born in Clubb, Missouri on September 15, 1930 to Marion Harrison and Mary Florence (Eads) Allen.
On October 11, 1947 she was united in marriage to Robert Edgar Moyers who preceded her in death on March 13, 1970 in Hiram, Missouri.
She came to Colorado in 1971 where she was employed as a special education teacher at Crowley County Elementary.
On April 19, 1980 she was united in marriage to Phillip L. Riemenschneider in Raton, New Mexico.
She enjoyed cooking, painting, collecting angels, crafts, and entertaining her family and friends.
She was an active member of the Manzanola Church of the Nazarene until the time of her departure.
She will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her son Roger Dennis Moyers on February 28, 2005.
Dollie is survived by her husband, Phillip of the family home in Ordway, CO; sons, Michael Edgar (and Mary) Moyers of Jackson, MO; Paul Steven (and Kathy) Moyers of La Junta, CO; and Dale Robert (and Jan) Moyers of Indianapolis, IN and daughter-in-law, Susan Joan Moyers of Moriarty, New Mexico. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
There was a funeral service in Colorado on Nov. 27. There will be a graveside service Saturday at the Chapel Pavilion, Bollinger County Memorial Cemetery, near Marble Hill, MO, with the Rev. T. J. Humphreys officiating. Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill is in charge of the service.
