CARSON FUNERAL HELD

The funeral of Mrs. Lena Carson whose death occurred at her home at Springfield, O., Thursday night, was held at the home of the parents Mr. and Mrs. George Carpenter on South G street yesterday afternoon. There were a large number of the many friends and relatives of the deceased in attendance and the service was one of unusual sadness. Many beautiful floral tributes showed the great love and respect in which the woman was held by her many friends, and many and bitter were the tears that fell during the service and as the casket was lowered into the ground.
