Green-Wood Cemetery
Section 126/127, Public Lot 14679, Grave #12.
Public lot graves, measuring about 4 by 8 feet in area, have room for only one stone apiece, limiting the space for inscribed text. A typical public lot grave can accommodate about 5 adults—more if those interred are infants or have been cremated. Like many public lot graves, this one is unmarked. It is between the WOODS and SIMMONS (fallen white stone) graves. Clara Apel was interred here July 14 1882.
