FRANK OSCAR DAVIDSON, 81, of 20029 Leitersburg Pike, Hagerstown, died Thursday, May 13, 1999, at his home. Born March 27, 1918, in Weathersfield, Vt., he was the son of the late Leslie and Elsie Hurst Davidson.

He owned and operated Davidson Co. until his retirement. A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Long Meadow Church of the Brethren. He was former treasurer of Full Gospel Business Men's Association.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kathleen Lucille Davidson; three daughters, Kimberly J. Burch and Sandra L. Needy, both of Hagerstown, and Sheila D. Rogers of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Marion D. Todd of California; two brothers, James E. Davidson of New York and Guy Davidson of New Hampshire; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Duane Frank Davidson.

Services were held at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, Hagerstown; burial was in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
