Her two older sisters Annie and Bertha were born in Germany too. Her brothers William and Edward were born here. She was the youngest, I think.
One of her sisters, Mary, became a nun, Sister Boniface. Bertha was of the demimonde and murdered Dr Stuart and then herself in 1910.
Matilda died of cancer when she was only 45. Her funeral was held from the Devlin funeral home on the NorthSide of Pittsburgh. The Devlins were friends of the family.
Matilda was the wife of Frank J Neely. One of her children is Francis King Neely, who loves her still.
