Chicago- Funeral Mass for former Oelwein resident, George J. Garris was held Monday, Oct. 31, at St. Juliana Church in Chicao, Ill. Mr. Garris of 7432 North O'deli Chicago, Ill., died after a lengthy illness.
Survivors include his wife, Milllie; one son, Don, and one daughter, Karen Gembara, all of Chicago; three grandchildren, three brothers, Joe Garris of Downers Grove, Ill., Adam Garris of Leavenworth, Kan., and Jerome Garris of Oelwein, three sisters, Mrs. Irene Vogel of Downers Grove, Ill., Mrs. Maie Hartmann and Cecilia Garris, both of Oelwein.
