BEHN, MADELINE W., age 85, of Maitland FL, passed away on Aug. 2, at Florida Hospital-Altamonte. Graveside funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, Aug. 3, at 10 AM at Temple Israel Cemetery, Gotha.
Mrs. Behn, a native of Mt. Carmel, PA, was born on July 23, 1926, to the late Jacob and Rose Kline Wolfe. A graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Philosophy, she was married to the late Jerome Behn who passed away in 2006. A lover of animals of all sorts, she moved to the Orlando area in 1957 and was a lifelong member of Temple Israel.
Madeline is survived by her daughters Judith (Ronald) Suberman of Maitland and Andrea Behn (Jeffrey Grushka) of Longwood. She is also survived by her grandchildren David Margolis, Rachel Suberman, Jacob Suberman, Alexander Levin and Jordan Grushka. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Madeline W. Behn to the Jewish Pavilion, PO Box 160056, Altamonte Springs 32716-0056.
