Faith J. Woepse, age 77, formerly of St. Nazianz, died Monday evening, January 27, 2014 at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center of Manitowoc, due to a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.Faith was born on July 7, 1936 in Waukesha, daughter of the late Edward Mandville "Manny" and Hildegarde (Nelson) Halverson. She was a 1954 graduate of Valders High School. On March 22, 1958 Faith was married to Walter W. Woepse at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Liberty. Wally preceded Faith in death on November 27, 2012. Faith worked as a waitress for Stock's Supper Club in Newton from their opening until her retirement at the closing of the restaurant on December 31, 1999. She was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church and Valders Homemakers. Wally and Faith enjoyed spending their winters in Florida until her health wouldn't allow.

Survivors include her three children and their spouses: Barb (Jim) Buth, Madison; Jim (Sue) Woepse, Manitowoc; Beth (JR) Wagner, Manitowoc; two granddaughters: Jenna Woepse, Green Bay; Kendra Woepse, Green Bay and her fiancé Jamie Sampson; one sister-in-law: Karen Halverson, Valders; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Manny and Hildegarde Halverson; her husband: Wally Woepse; one brother: William "Lee" Halverson; one brother-in-law: James Woepse; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Walter and Hilda Woepse.
