From Famous Film Folk (1925) Harry T. Morey was born in Charlotte, Michigan, and was educated there. Before his debut in motion pictures, he had a varied experience on the stage, playing in every type of production from Shakespearian drama to musical comedy. In 1909, he joined the Vitagraph Company, being a member of the original Vitagraph stock company, which included many of the leading stars of today. His work in pictures, as on the stage, has been varied, but he has always preferred the virile outdoor dramas that gave him an opportunity to play as he worked. While a diligent student, Mr. Morey is likewise a keen sportsman and his time is pretty evenly divided between the "great open spaces" and his own fireside. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 180 lbs., and has light brown hair and grey eyes. Morey
