Polin F. Edelen, 68, Louisville, died suddenly of a heart attack Saturday night while vising at the home of his brother-in-law, Tom Filiatreau, at Bardstown. He was a brother of Mrs. Arthur Hill Lebanon.
Mr. Edelen was a native of Washington County, a son of the late George and Lou Clements Edelen. His wife is the former Mary Leora Craven, of Lebanon. Others survivivors include five daughters, Mr. Elmer Walker, Mrs. harry Laverty, Mrs. John Fritz, Mrs Vincent Schmett, and Mrs. Leon Spayd, all of Louisville, a son William P. Edelen, Ardmore, Okla. a half-brother, Len Edelen, who lives in California, and several grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Columba Church, Louisville. Burial was in Calvary cemetery there.
