Mrs. Willis was born Jan. 7, 1913 in Pickaway Co., Ohio to Charles and Minnie Baney Ladd. She moved to New Holland in 1970 from Williamsport and had been residing in Cincinnati the past year.
She formerly was a school cafeteria cook in Williamsport and Jackson and had worked at Aeronautical Products, Inc. in Washington C.H.
Mrs. Willis was a member of the Williamsport United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Willis on Feb. 2, 1987; by a brother, Charles Ladd; four sisters, Artie Rhinehart, Mary Davis, Edna Glass, and Inez Ladd and two half sisters, Margaret Noble and Augusta Helsel.
Mrs. Willis is survived by a son, Bruce and a granddaughter, Courtney Willis, both of Cincinnati.
In keeping with Mrs. Willis' wishes, cremation took place. A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Springlawn Cemetery In Williamsport with Rev. Melvin Alkire, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral HOme in New Holland.
