DIED: At the home of his son A.M. [Alexander McNutt Garrison] Garrison at Centre, Sedgwick County, on June 16th, of old age, Samuel Y. Garrison, aged 88 years. Deceased was the father of our townsman, S.F.C. [Samuel Finley Crowe Garrison] Garrison. He has been a faithful, consist member of the Presbyterian Church for 75 years, was an exemplary Christian, a loving husband, kind father and wise counsellor. His remains were taken to be buried by the side of his wife
