The last census record of Clarence is a 1920 census where he is shown as Clarence Huber (should be HOOBER) age 5 with his brother Wayne H Huber (should be Joseph Wayne Hoober) age 8 living with the new step father Wilbert Ebaugh (shown as Ehang) and mother Lonna (should be Lona) Ehang plus a Robert Ehang/Ebaugh.
UPDATE: July 2017 Probate records of Joseph Henry Hoober (Clarence's father) dated 14 July1931 show Clarence's name change as Richard Hall. At this time we believe Clarence was possibly adopted by Clare and Albert D Hall (shown in Stanwood, Snohomish, Washington on the 1930 census with "adopted son, Richard Hall, age 15, born in Kansas" (all matching Clarence Hoober information!
