Ernie worked for United Airlines for 33 years, and he and Camille lived in Hudson for 47 years. He loved gardening and traveling, and was a great fisherman. After serving for four years in the Air Force, he married Camille C. Grieci January 29, 1948. Survivors beside his wife included: sons Keith in Lochbuie and Ernie (Robin) in Johnstown; and grandchildren Deayaun, Nicole, Jenny, Katy, Justin, and great-grandson Jeramiah (Jamo).
