Mary was the second of eight children born to George Daniel Sr. and Mary Mildred (Carter) Foust. She married Thomas William Holt and they were the parents of two children: Ruby Mae and Robert Daniel.

MEBANE - Mrs. Mary Frances Foust Holt, 69, of 107 W. Crawford St. died Wednesday at Alamance County Hospital.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at McClure Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Zion Christian Church cemetery. Mrs. Holt was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Ruby Holt Williams of the home; sisters, Mrs. Willie Mae Caudle of Mebane, Mrs. Beatrice Flynn of Greensboro; brothers, George Daniel Foust, Jr of Chapel Hill. Edward Foust of Salinas, Calif., two grandchildren.
