AURORA, Colo. – Memorial Mass for Edward L. "Ted" Thompson, 50, of Aurora, Colo., son of Rex Thompson of Trout Creek, was conducted march 21 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel in Aurora with the Rev. Monsignor Omer V. Foxhoven officiating. Interment was in Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver with military honors by the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Thompson died of a heart attack March 15, 1994, while skiing with his family near Aurora.
He served 20 years with the U.S. Air Force, retiring 10 years ago as a lieutenant major. He was employed by General Motors at the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife, Valeska, of the family home at Aurora, Colo.; two sons, Alan and wife Tammy, Houston, Texas; and Eddie and wife Dena of Aurora; two grandchildren, Casey and Trisha of Aurora; his father and stepmother, Rex and Altha Thompson, Trout Creek; two half-brothers, Donald Thompson, Trout Creek; and Delbert Thompson, Sandpoint, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Edna and Levi Salois or Browning.
