Samuel Lennie Lyon, 90, of St. Augustine, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2014, at the Bailey Center for Caring.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one sister, Ruth M. Miller, Trenton, N.J.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, (today) Feb. 15, 2014, at the E.A. Kelley Sr., Church of God in Christ. Viewing will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Chase Chapel. Burial will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
