Eugene George Costello, Sr., passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at West Jefferson Hospital in Marrero, LA at the age of 77. He was the son of the late Peter Costello, Sr. and Ruth Davis Costello. Eugene was the devoted husband of Joyce Robinson Costello and the loving father of Eugene G. Costello, Jr. and the late Janice Marie Costello. Two grandchildren, Eugene G. Costello, III and Trenese Costello Schexnayder; two great-grandchildren, Kylan Costello and Makylah Schexnayder; and a host of family and friends also survive him. Eugene graduated from Joseph S. Clark Senior High School in 1953 and was employed at the A. B. Dick Company for more than thirty-five years. Family and friends; co-workers of A. B. Dick Company; members of the Sportsman Social and Pleasure Club; Jo Ellen Smith Living Center; and the church communities of Amozion Baptist Church, St. David Catholic Church, Lil Zion Baptist Church, and New Israel Baptist Church are all invited to attend the funeral at Amozion Baptist Church, 907 Deslonde Street for 10:00am on Saturday, February 22, 2014.
