Bobby Joe Eudy, 76 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle.
Bobby was born December 25, 1937 in Stanly County to the late Charlie Spencer Eudy Sr. and the late Lillie Mae Teeter Eudy. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Tommy Eudy and David Eudy; and sisters, Peggy Thompson and Linda Burns.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Ronnie Dry and Rev. Nick Rochester, will be at 3:00 PM, Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, Albemarle. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Jane Lambert Eudy of Albemarle; son, Paul Eudy and wife, Sherri of Albemarle; daughters, Jo Ellen Newsome and husband, Britt of New London and Susan Bennett and husband, Wes of Locust; brothers, Charlie Eudy, Jr. and wife, Sara, Jimmy Eudy and wife, Faye, William "Bud" Eudy, and Ricky Eudy and wife, Barbara; sisters, Joyce Holland, Betty Leonard and husband, James, and Brenda Cody; grandchildren, Jonathan and Catherine Newsome, Chase and Brooke Burris and Jaxon Bennett.
