Geraldine "Jeri" Johnson, 95, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014. She was born December 11, 1918 in Cleveland, Ohio to Edna and Clarence Craig. She graduated from Lakewood High School. Geraldine married Robert H. Bartholomew of Lakewood, Ohio and they relocated to Yuma in 1960. Following his death, she married Herbert Johnson of Yuma. She was a past president of the Lady Elks, was also past president of the American Legion Auxiliary the Le Femmes the 8/40, and past state president of 8/40.
Geraldine is survived by her husband, Herbert Johnson; sons, Rodger (Patty) and Robert Bartholomew; step-children, Larry Johnson and Judy (Rick) Pallen; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Johnson Mortuary, 1415 S. 1st Avenue, Yuma.
