Age 54, he passed away at his home. Son of Faye (Rexrode) Bodkin and the late Raymond Sebastian Bodkin Sr., he was born at Crummett Run. He was a member of Crummett Run Church of the Brethren and attended Frances Ashby United Methodist Church. He worked at Rainbow Farms in the poultry houses.
His wife, Geneva Ann Bodkin, whom he married on June 6, 2008, survives. Also surviving are two brothers: Raymond Bodkin Jr. and Dennis Bodkin, both of Sugar Grove; a nephew Jim Bodkin and his wife Vicky of Clover Hill, VA.
He was preceded in death by a brother Charles Bodkin.
Services held at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell, VA with the Revs. Cindy Skinner and Pat Godfrey officiating. Burial followed in Crummett Family Cemetery.
