Mrs. Marie C. Sanders, 76, of Pleasant Hill died Tuesday, Jan. 20 in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23 at First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill, with interment following at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Thibeau, pastor of First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill officiated and the Rev. Vernon Stephenson and the Rev. E. W. Golemon assisted.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandra S. Neal and husband, Stanley of Pleasant Hill; one grandson. Lee Neal and wife, Sonya of Logansport; two sisters, Mrs. Janet Hicks of Punta Gorda, Fla. and Mrs. Lori Girvin of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and one brother, Curtis Coots of Clevland, Texas. Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her husband, Frank T. Sanders; two brothers; and one sisters.
Pallbearers were Harold Dillard, John Neal, J. Jim Veuleman, Alton Middleton, Kenneth Terrell and Jackie D. Savell. Honorary pallbearers were O. L. Bridges, Terry L. Ponder III and Williams Bryan.
