Robert B. Hill, Sr. age 88 of Cahaba Heights passed away at his home Thursday, March 6th 2014. Bob served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Peggy Elizabeth Hill. Bob leaves behind his four children: Lynn Matthews (Richard), Robert Hill, Jr. (Barbara), Debra Boyer, and Hannah Morris (Todd); eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and his sister Susan Nelson (Greg).
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM followed by a chapel service at Elmwood Chapel. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
