Kathryn Jean "Kathy" McCauley, 72, passed away on Monday, March 10th, 2014 after a very courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 13, 1941 in Anadarko, OK to Earl and Elva (Jones) Hawkins. She grew up in Anadarko and graduated from Anadarko High School. She later attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK and Central State University in Edmond, OK. She lived in Oklahoma City for a few years before moving to Fort Cobb in 1972, where she lived the rest of her life. She worked as an accountant for Hollytex Carpet Mills for over 25 years. She attended the First Baptist Church and the Church of Christ in Fort Cobb, OK. Her greatest joy was spoiling her grandchildren, especially her only granddaughter, Kathryn-Elizabeth.

She is survived by:
2 sons and their wives: Jeff and Jessica McCauley, Dallas, TX
Greg and Cheryl-Paige McCauley, Fort Cobb, OK
4 grandchildren: Aidan and Greyson from Dallas, TX
Preston and Kathryn-Elizabeth from Fort Cobb, OK

1 brother: Earl (Bud) Hawkins, Okla. City, OK


She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 infant sisters
