Margaret E. McPhail was born in Valley Center, Sanilac, Michigan. On June 18, 1898 she married frist to Alvin Boughner and, widowed, she married Mr. Herman J. Deering on July 18, 1927. She died in the home of her daughter Mrs. Margaret Ross of Port Huron, MI. She is survived also by a second daughter Mrs. Herbert Kramer of Detroit, and three sons, Dan Boughner, and Peter Boughner both of Port Huron and Bruce Boughner of Detroit, and two sisters, Mrs. George Hollenbeck or Yale and Mrs. Isabel McKernon of Brown City, and two brothers Dan McPhail of Valley Center, and Charles McPhail of Flint.
