Former Buckley Resident Dies

Mrs. Jess C. Boyle, 58, of Flint, a native of Buckley and former Traverse City nurse, died Wednesday in Tampa, Fla.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Rose Chapel of Algoe-Gundery Mortuary in Flint, with burial in Grace Lawn cemetery there.

Ethel L. Paffhausen was born in Buckley on September 21, 1902, the daughter of Peter and Myrtle Paffhausen, and as a young woman was a nurse at a Traverse City hospital.

Surviving are the husband; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Stark and Mrs. Shirley Moss of Flint, and Mrs. Lyle McClements of Pontiac; two sons, Donovan of Flint, and James of the U. S. army; and five grandchildren.
