HOLT, MRS. MARY ELDER , age 94, of Waveland, Miss., and formerly of Birmingham, died Monday, October 28, 1996. The Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with burial at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 7:30 with a Wake service being held at 7:30 p.m. at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood.
Survivors include: two sons, James W. Holt, Buffalo, Tex. and Dennis E. Holt, Tampa, Fla.; daughter, Mary Teague, Gulf Breeze, Fla.; brother, Pat Elder , St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Clemetine Bryan, St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Holt was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and was employed there for 37 years. She was also a member of Legion of Mary. Ridout's Valley Chapel directing.
