MRS. AGNES WELLS

Mrs. Agnes Wells, widow of J.N. Wells, resident of 915 16th Street, Moundsville, died yesterday at 2:45 p.m. at her home, after a week-long illness. She was born in Zelaski OH, daughter of the late Robert and Mary Higgins Halpin, and spent most of her life in Moundsville. She was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier church and a member of the Xavier Guild. Surviving are a son, C.P. Wells, Sommersville W.V; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Dial of Moundsville, a sister, Mrs. Cecelia Bronsell, Shrevesport LA; and eight grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Grisell Funeral Home. A Solemn High Mass of Requiem will be sung on Monday at St. Francis church, followed by internment in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery, New Martinsville. Friends will recite the Rosary on Sunday evening at 8 o'clock in the funeral home.
