Reverend Mr Roger T Walters, 71
Services for the Rev. Roger T. Walters, 71, of Spring Valley, were yesterday in Featheringill Mortuary. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery. He died Saturday in a hospital.
Mr. Walters, a native of Iowa, lived in the county 33 years and was a minister at Monterey Heights Baptist Church in Lemon Grove for 17 years. He retired in 1971. He was a member of Bonita Valley Baptist Church and the Baptist General Conference.
Survivors include his wife, Gene; two daughters, Faith Rosenberger of Lemon Grove and Cheryl Dempster of San Jose; two sons, Gaylen of San Jose, and Bruce of Fresno; and 14 grandchildren.
