She was married to William John Stephens on 15 December 1920 at Bracebridge, Ontario. Her brother Robert Kenndy Grant and his wife Violet Rosetta Grant were the witnesses to their marriage in Bracebridge, Ontario.
Will and Stella came back to Wills farm south of Unity, on the north side of Grass Lake. They had two children, Gladys and Graham Stephens.
Their marriage ended, and Stella left her family behind and moved to Edmonton, Alberta. She eventually married Oliver Anderson, who was their hired man on the farm in Saskatchewan. They were married at the Grace Hospital, Edmonton ( now Ross Flats Apartments) by a Salvation Army Minister.
Stella and Oliver had a baby boy Sidney Oliver Anderson, born in Edmonton, Alberta.
According to research, they lived at Courtenay, Port Alberni and Nanaimo, B. C. Oliver and Sid worked in the logging industry in Port Alberni.
ANDERSON- Estella Mildred of Nanaimo, B.C. passed away at Dufferin Place on January 3, 1991, age 90 years. She is survived by her son Sid of Nanaimo, B.C.; two step- granddaughters , Barb Hilchey and Kathy Arnold. Funeral service will be held Friday January 11, 1991 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, B.C. Cremation. Arrangements through First Memorial Funeral Services.
