WILLIAM C WUNROW

William C. Wunrow, age 95, of Potter, passed away Monday, Jan 18, 1993 at Howard Young medical Center at Woodruff.
Mr. Wunrow was born March 21, 1897 in the town of Rantoul, son of the late Henry and Bertha Fuhrman Wunrow. He was married to Mabel Duchow on Jan. 26, 1922 at Rantoul. He owned and operated Riverside Cheese Factory in the town of Rantoul from 1922 to 1947. He also owned and operated Wunrow's Exchange in Potter from 1935 until his retirement in 1965. He was a member of the board of directors of Farmers State Bank of Potter for over 50 years. He also served as president of the bank for a number of years. He was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Rantoul, and served as an elder for many years. He was also a member of the Lutheran Layman's League.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law; Florence and Ollie Wulff of Boulder Junction, Eunice and Dr. Frederick Kramer of Portland, Ore., and Phyllis and Pastor Donald Sprengler of Antigo; two sons and three daughters-in-law, Wilber and Armella Wunrow of Fremont, William W. and Marilyn Wunrow of Green Bay, and Lorraine Wunrow of Fond du Lac; 21 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; and one brother, Herbert Wunrow of Brillion. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel on Jan. 28, 1981; one son, Wesley in 1987; one grandchild; two sisters and a brother.
