Mrs. Permelia A. Reeves, wife of George H. Reeves, deceased, died at the home of her son, John Reeves, North Maiden street, Waynesburg, Sunday evening, March 13, aged 78 years. Her death was due to complications following an attack of influenza. Mrs. Reeves was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Christopher and was born in Cumberland township, March 26, 1849. She was a life long member of the Muddy Creek Presbyterian church and was most highly esteemed. Her husband died twelve years ago. The following children survive: Mrs. Ira Jamison, Mesopotamie, Ohio; Mrs. Charles Graves, Lippincott; Mrs. Sherman Dunn, Amity; Hicey Reeves, Marianna; John Reeves, Waynesburg; Mrs. J. C. Grimes, Dunns Staton; Mrs. Frank Crayne, Millsboro, and William Reeves, Brave. The following brothers and sisters survive: Jasper Christopher, Marianna, Newton Christopher, Khedive; George Christopher, Rices Landing; James Christopher, Washington; Mrs. William Swan, Villisca, Ia., and Mrs. William Grooms, Khedive.
