She was born December 29, 1916, the daughter of the late Juan Galan and Maria DeLaCerda Ugarte.
Mrs. Jasso is survived a daughter, Yolanda Vincent, and her husband, Ron, of Bridgeport, WV; a son, Richard Jasso of San Antonio, TX; two sisters, Janie Trinidad and Elida Leija both of San Antonio; five grandchildren, Mario Contreras of San Antonio, Melissa Jasso of San Antonio, Michelle Jasso of San Antonio, Michael Keeble of Stonewood, WV, and Sarah Keeble of Fort Worth, TX; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by six brothers, Jesse, Gilbert, Raul, Juan, Rudy and Arnold Ugarte and other brothers and sisters that died as children.
Mrs. Jasso was raised in a Christian home. These childhood values were continued throughout her entire life. She was a proud homemaker and loved her family very much. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
The funeral service will be held in the Ford Funeral Home, 215 East Main Street, Bridgeport, WV, on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ron Hill presiding. The interment will follow in the Bridgeport Cemetery.
