Mrs. Ewing died Sunday at a local hospital from a lingering illness. She was born in Kansas Nov. 25, 1881, and had lived in Portland since 1910. Her husband, Thomas, died in 1940.
She was a member of the Christian Church, City View Rebekah Lodge, Sellwood Lavender Club, Sellwood Garden Club, Sellwood Community Club and the WCTU.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Donaldson; three sons, Henry, Jack and Roy Ewing, Portland; three brothers, Dock, John and William Marshall; one sister, Mrs. Ada Wood, and three grandchildren.
