Funeral service for Peggy Ann Bitz, 51, of Aberdeen, SD will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, at the Aberdeen Wesleyan Church, 1701 8th Ave N.E. Pastor George Affeldt will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen.

Schriver's Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Ave. N.W. is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary and one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.

Peggy passed away Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at Avera St. Luke's Hospital.

Peggy Ann Harty was born Jan. 17, 1954, to Andrew and Naomia (nee Boulais) Harty in Aberdeen, SD. She grew up in Aberdeen and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School. She worked at Control Data for seven years. She married Glenn Bitz Nov. 25,1978, in Aberdeen. She took time off of work to raise their four children. Her pride and joy was her family. Five years ago, she went back to work at the YMCA until ill health.

Preceding in death is her mother, one brother and one sister.

Grateful for having shared her life is her husband, Glenn of Aberdeen, one son, Justin Bitz, three daughters; Melissa Bitz, Jessica Bitz and Miranda Bitz all of Aberdeen, her father Andrew (Janet) Harty of Rockford, IL, two brothers; Dennis (Sandy) Harty of Bremerton, WA and Todd (Robin) Harty of Frankfort, SD, four sisters; Rose (Jim) Steadman of La Porte, TX, Cindy Gormly of Arlington, KS, Vicky (Rick) Voeller of Arlington, KS and Debbie Harty of Clinton, OK.

Pallbearers will be Jim Steadman, Todd Harty, Dennis Harty, Harry Bitz, Larry Bitz and Justin Bitz.

Honorary Pallbearers are all her friends and loved ones.
