Lowell Spence

Services for Lowell Spence, 83, of 1718 Harrison st., Evanston, retired assistant Chicago superintendent of the Pinkerton National Detective agency, will be held at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow in the chapel at 1567 Maple av., Evanston. Mr. Spence died Friday in an Evanston rest home. He retired in 1941 after 43 years with the agency. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Warren; a son, Herbert F.; a grandchild, and a sister.

Spence of Evanston; grandfather of Mrs. Mary Lowell Smith of Houston, Tex.; brother of Mrs. Jessie Calvin of Berwyn, Ill. Resting at chapel, 1567 Maple avenue, Evanston, where service will be held 3:30 p.m. Monday. Entombment Memorial Park.
