Mrs. Sue Talley Brown, 89, of 305 N. Holden Rd., died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2000, at her residence.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2000, at Hanes-Lineberry North Elm Chapel. Burial will follow in Westminster Gardens.
A native of Chatham County, Mrs. Brown was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Mace S. Brown of the home; son, Al Brown and wife, Midge of Belhaven; daughter, Carolyn McKinney of Greensboro; four sisters, Berta Park of Charlotte, Edith Overman of Pleasant Garden, Ethel T. Biddle of Greensboro, and Nelsie Lowdermilk of Greensboro; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service on Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 438 W. Friendly Ave., Greensboro, N.C. 27401.
