Mrs. Foley, Brushton Resident, Dies
Mrs. Loretta L. Foley, 75 of Brushton, died yesterday afternoon in the Alice Hyde Hospital, shortly after being admitted. She was taken to the hospital after suffering a heart attack at her home.
Born in Moira, May 7, 1893, she was a daughter of Fred and Margaret Maloney LaBelle and lived for a time in Bombay, before going to Brushton to reside.
On June 20, 1910 she was married to Anson Foley, who died April 8, 1951. She was a member of St Mary's Church in Brushton. She attended Brushton schools and for a time was employed at the Northeast Footwear Corp. in Brushton.
Survivors include two daughters. Mrs. Ralph (Margaret) Johnson and Mrs. Gordon (Theresa) Peck both of Brushton; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Elliott of Malone; one brother, Verne LaBelle of Brushton; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A son, Glenford died in 1929.
Friends may call at the Donaldson Funeral Home in Massena from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Bombay with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Morris Dwyer, of Massena, officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
