Our village was saddened by the sudden illness and passing of Glenford Foley, 16 years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anson Foley at the Alice Hyde hospital Friday night. His remains were conveyed to his home Saturday.
Glenford was a most unusual boy, caring first for his parents and home and then his school. His parents had set great store by him as he was the only son and a brilliant future was by him. He was beloved by teachers, pupils and townspeople as was shown by the abundance of lovely flowers that were sent in. It is hard to understand but the Lord's will be done. The sympathy of the community is extended to the family in this, their sad bereavement. Services were held Monday morning, Rev Father McGinness officiating Burial was in the family plot in the R. C. cemetery.
