Mrs. Martha Meade
Mrs. Martha A. Meade, 618 E. Division St. Hanover Township, formerly of Catlin Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, died Monday in Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient one day.
Born in Wales May 18, 1883, she came to this country at the age of four and lived in Edwardsville until her marriage to her late husband Irvin F. Meade, when she moved to Wilkes-Barre. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Emily Auchenbach, at home; sister, Mrs. Ruth Berryman, West Milton, Ohio.
Funeral will held from the H. M. Hughes Funeral Home, 451 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, Thursday. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends may call Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
