Lydia J. Henzie was born on October 26, 1877, to Isaac and Amanda Anderson at Geneseo, Illinois, and passed to her Heavenly reward on November 22, 1971, at the age of 94 years-26 days. She was united in marriage to Clinton D. Henzie on December 11, 1895 at Sigourney, Iowa. To this union was born 9 children, three boys and six girls, one boy passing away in infancy. Lydia was baptized into Christ in 1934 at Inglewood, California.
Throughout her life she was a faithful wife and mother, yet with her large family she was never too busy to lend a helping hand to any in need. Her ever present cheerfulness always made things seem a little brighter and sunnier regardless of the circumstances. Needless to say she will be greatly missed by all her acquaintances. Her husband preceeded her in death in 1962 at the age of 87 years.
