Mr. Amoretti was a native of Nice, France and crossed the ocean at the age
of eleven and has been amongst us and one of us for 60 years: married here
and reared a large family, the survived members of which are Mrs P M Adema,
Mrs H H Wire, Mrs W L McCormick, Mrs A Bilich, Mrs T Casenzo, Misses Oneida,
Pascaline and Victorine Amoretti and a son Mr Jos N Amoretti and fifteen
grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The remains of the deceased were
conveyed to New Orleans on Tuesday and interment made in St. Roch Cemetery.
