Hazel B. Dove age 82 of Sedalia passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center in Sedalia. She was born on October 16, 1931 in Syracuse, Missouri daughter of John Ralph and Mae Billingsley Williams. She was married in March of 1951 in Sedalia to Albert F. Dove and he preceded her in death on August 16, 1971.

Hazel attended school in Syracuse. She worked as a cook at CMSU, Coffee Pot Cafe and the North 65 Cafe. She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. Hazel enjoyed cooking, watching westerns, playing cards and dancing. She loved the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by three daughters; Betty Paxton (Doug) of Windsor, Earline Keele (Carroll) of Sherwood, Arkansas, Joyce Rutledge (Steve) of Bloomington, IL, one son; Roy Dove (Christine) of Weiser, ID, two sisters; Jennie Waddell (Hulon) of Holt, MO, Shirley Wood (Norman) of Willow Springs, MO, nineteen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son; Gary Lynn Dove, one sister; Lenora Gee and one brother; Donald Williams.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Monday, April 7, 2014 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Chaplain Bill Douglas officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. on Monday until service time.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Keele, Michael Cauley, Dion Honda, Justin Rutledge, Kevin Greene and Michael Scott. Burial will be in Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call after 8:00 A.M. Monday. Memorials may be given to Crossroads Hospice in care of the funeral home. You may leave condolences on line at ewingschuttesemlerfh.com
