Major League Baseball Player. Born in Ripley, Mississippi he played shortstop for the Cleveland Naps in 1909, the Brooklyn Superbas in 1910 and the Brooklyn Dodgers from 1911 to 1912. During his career, he hit for a .238 batting average, scoring 90 runs and knocked in 30 RBI. His life came to a tragic end when he was murdered in Memphis, Tennessee.
