Geraldine M. (Geri) Becker, age 89, formerly of 3715 Custer Street, Manitowoc, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at River’s Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
She was born on September 30, 1924 in the town of Gibson, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Charles and Frances (Hronek) Robinson. Geri attended school at Jambo Creek. On January 25, 1947 she married Roy F. Becker at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on January 10, 1999. Geri was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and the Manitowoc Senior Center.
Survivors include a very special niece: Marlis Schrimpf, Mishicot. She is further survived by three nephews: Verlyn Robinson, Mishicot, Allen Robinson & his wife Linda, Two Rivers, Dennis Robinson & his wife Kathy, Mishicot; a very thoughtful godchild: Laine Revenal, Madison; and a sister-in-law: Ruth Revenal, Manitowoc. Also surviving are other nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends. She was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law: Viola & William Schuette; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Ludy Robinson, Edwin & Ethel Robinson; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: John & Odelia Becker; a brother-in-law: Raymond Becker & his wife Pat; a sister-in-law: Dorothy Franks; two nephews: Robert Schuette & Allen Schrimpf; and a niece: Virginia Robinson.
Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry with burial of her cremated remains at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
