Francis X. McGonagle of Carver, passed away April 10, 2014. He was 72 years old. He was the beloved husband of Eileen (Carmichael) McGonagle; loving father of Francis McGonagle Jr. of Quincy, Joanne McGonagle of Las Vegas, Nev., Debra Stallings of Md., William T. Campbell of Weymouth, and John J. Campbell of Middleboro; cherished grandfather of Megan, Will, Matthew, Avery, and Jaxon; brother of John McGonagle of Shrewsbury, Philip McGonagle of Fla., and the late Helen Doherty. Francis is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Francis is a retired truck driver, who worked for Smith Prints of Norwell. Visiting hours will be held Monday, April 14, from 4-8 p.m. at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St. (Rte. 58), Carver. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 15, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 130 Main St. (Rte. 58), Carver, at 10 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home at 9 a.m. prior to the funeral Mass.
